Ms. Bailey retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in 2009 after 24 years of service as a Special Agent. Ms. Bailey has extensive experience and demonstrated success in long and short term investigations into violations of local, state and federal statues. During her assignment with the Dallas FBI Office, she served in a variety of investigative programs to include high level Department of Justice background investigations, White House access security investigations and Federal Judicial appointees’ investigations.
Ms. Bailey served as Coordinator of the North Texas Joint Terrorism Task Force. In that capacity she had oversight for the combined efforts of 47 local, state and federal agencies investigating violations of federal law related to terrorist activities. Prior to retiring from the FBI, she served as Supervisory Special Agent for the Dallas FBI Operational Support Squad having direct responsibility for Human Resources, Training, Evidence and Hazardous Material Collection, Polygraph Investigation, and Administration.
Ms. Bailey also served as Supervisory Special Agent with oversight for covert operations and also has personal experience in undercover investigation techniques. During her tenure as Special Agent assigned to the Miami, Florida Division, Ms. Bailey periodically served in an undercover capacity, investigating primarily white collar crime matters, including a complex investigation into corrupt business practices at NASA. During her assignment in the Phoenix, Arizona Office Ms. Bailey investigated Violent Crimes inclusive of kidnapping, extortion, bank robbery, fugitive and homicide on government reservations matters.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Ms. Bailey is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Business Management "Navigating Strategic Change". She is a certified Mediator, served as a member of the Federal Mediation Corps, and has extensive experience and proven success in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
